Can you believe the 100th day of school is already here?!
After some delicious treats this morning, the kids spent their $100 and did several activities throughout the day involving the number 100. Some kids wanted their picture taken with their new glasses so here they are!
POSSIBLE SNOW DAY MONDAY...after talking with Mr. Bradley today I became aware that we will be getting a lot of snow Sunday night. So to be prepared I quickly put together a packet of the new spelling, some writing, math and reading nonfiction. There is a sticky note attached that your child wrote but basically it says if there is a snow day, do the work and bring it back completed on Tuesday (except of course words to learn due on Friday). If we have a delay or come to school , just bring the packet back UNFINISHED. No one is to do the work over the weekend- that would defeat the purpose! This of course is perfect timing for the persuasive writing the kids are doing! They are all writing letters to Dr. Bowers, offering their opinion on snow days! Below you will find an example:
