What a wonderful, busy week back! The kids started working on their severe weather reports...
The kids played a version of 20 questions using vocabulary words we have been learning this year. They had to figure out the word by asking what the antonym, synonym, definition , example and non-example of their word was.
We made flip books to practice nonfiction text features and what they are used for...
Looked for books to represent different genres in literature...
Informational writing was our focus this week. This time the kids practiced blowing bubbles with bubble gum and then wrote a paragraph on how to blow a bubble, remembering to include an introductory and concluding sentence along with their steps.
